New UAlbany Head Coach Joins Joe & Brix [AUDIO]

The UAlbany Great Danes have hired a new Head Coach for the first time in the programs 40+ year history, and Joe & Brix were able to catch up with him earlier this week.

Greg Gattuso takes over the program after spending the last few years as an assistant atMaryland. Prior to that, he served as an assistant at Pitt and also as the head man in charge at Duquesne. During our conversation Coach shed some light into what UAlbany fans can expect to see from his team, and also what it was like coaching local product and current New England Patriot Joe Vellano back when Vellano starred at Maryland.
