It's been an active week for the New York Jets as they're shuffling their roster in an attempt to keep their 3-3 season intact. The Jets made the following moves Tuesday afternoon:

- Signed KR/WR Josh Cribbs to their active roster.

- Signed WR Greg Salas from the Eagles practice squad to the active roster.

- Placed both WR Clyde Gates and RB Mike Goodson on injured reserve.

Before Gates was officially put on IR, it was evident that the outcome for him wasn't looking good. The addition Cribbs will replace Gates at kick returner.

Cribbs had knee surgery this past off-season and worked out with the Jets during the summer time but GM John Idzik said at the time that Cribbs was not yet 100%.

Salas also gives depth at wideout with Gates out and Santonio Holmes still not playing.
