Beyonce to Perform at Super Bowl

As the two teams hit the locker room, discussing how they’ll finish the game in hopes of ‘putting a ring on it,’ Grammy winning megastar Beyonce will be performing on the field.

It was confirmed today by the diva that she’ll will perform the Halftime Show during the Super Bowl on February 3^rd. The move is somewhat surprising given the NFL’s recent trend of booking aging stars that appeal to older demographics. Aside from The Black Eyed Peas in 2011, every artist or group to perform since 2005 has been over a decade past their prime. That said, the social media response to this decision has been very positive, with speculation over her song selection and potential guest stars already taking a life of its own.
