Former Albany Academy star running back Dion Lewis, who also starred and set records at Pittsburgh University and now tote's the rock for the Philadelphia Eagles was arrested over the weekend after causing a disturbance and pulling the fire alarm at a local hotel after being locked out of the hotel. Police also claim Lewis and his brother Lamar Lewis were intoxicated at the time.

Dion Lewis who starred at Albany Academy then led the nation in yards rushing during his freshman season at Pitt with 1,640 yards was drafted by the Eagles in round 5 of the 2011 draft. Lewis is 21 years old.

Police say Dion and his 35 year old brother Lamar were locked out of the Hampton Inn hotel at 4 a.m. Saturday morning when they decided to pull the hotel fire alarm to be let back in. The doors automatically lock at midnight. Seems neither had their slide key when they left the hotel and then couldn't get back in. After banging on the doors to get back in 1 of them decided to pull the fire alarm.

Both Dion and Lamar were charged with falsely reporting a fire which is a felony and misdemeanor reckless endangerment. Dion Lewis was released after his arraignment. Lamar is being held without bail at the Albany County jail.
