Every game is different in sports at any level, during any regular season and during any playoff series in any sport.  But with the Knicks, we learned during Game 2 vs. the Pacers that this really shouldn't be that hard.  Just go with the right game plan and the games won't actually be THAT different, and New York beats most teams in the NBA.  And pretty easily.

No isolation.  38 feet from the basket with your best scorer isn't the right offense.  Pick and roll, screens and ball movement are all the right components, however, and New York did all of these offensive phases of the game in Game 2 and that helped spur Carmelo Anthony's 32-point night and excellent shooting because he had good looks.

The Knicks' effort and hard work and will to rebound are all key, which they didn't do in Game 1 but did very well in Game 2.  Defense is needed in the playoffs (maybe not in the NBA regular season considering so many players don't play it at a high level including Carmelo Anthony).  The Knicks brought the 'D' in the second game.  Another reason why Pacers-Knicks is 1-1 heading to Indiana.

When the Knicks have the right game plan, they win.  Attention Mike Woodson and Knick players:  stick with it.  You will win the series.
