Again, we like to get worked up about these College Football Rankings, but still, it doesn't matter much. It's going to work itself out as the season moves forward still. Here, take a look:

No. 1, Clemson: The Tigers have held the top spot all season but are coming off a rather unimpressive win over lowly Syracuse. They have games remaining against Wake Forest and South Carolina and both should be easy wins before the ACC Championship game.

No. 2, Alabama: The Crimson Tide have been all but forgiven for their loss earlier in the year as they continue to roll opponents. 'Bama takes on FCS Charleston Southern this week and then gets Auburn in a rivalry game before the SEC Championship game. Any slip-up by Clemson could lead the Tide to No.1.

No. 3, Ohio State: The Buckeyes are just biding their time. The schedule gets very tough for them so they'll have plenty of opportunities to prove they are really No. 1. They'll get Michigan State, Michigan and then No. 5 Iowa (probably) in the Big 10 title game.

No. 4, Notre Dame: The Irish continue to outpace unbeaten Iowa and everyone from the Big 12. Their only loss was a close one at No. 1 Clemson, that counts for something.
