After being suspended for one game on Monday afternoon, Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. is set to have his appeal on Wednesday.

If the suspension is upheld, the Giants will be without their best player for the biggest game of the season: A SNF game against the Vikings that could keep the Giants playoff hopes alive.

If it's upheld, Beckham will also lose a substantial amount of money:

He could also be subjected to fines from the league for individual incidents with Josh Norman.

James Thrash is the hearing officer. He is a former WR who played in the NFC East for the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles. He spent nine years in the NFL. I wonder if that connection will help OBJ in his appeal.

The Giants need Beckham on the field on Sunday night, but I wouldn't be surprised if the suspension is upheld. The NFL certainly doesn't seem to be on his side.
