40-year old Alex Rodriguez showed during the MLB playoffs that he has a job set  broadcasting after his baseball career finishes. Rodriguez was able to dumb down in a good way things about baseball that the average fan just doesn't get, and this led to the Yankees new hitting coach Alan Crockell calleing A-rod the smartest baseball player of all time.

Underneath all the mirror kissing, multiple PED uses, and peeing on family members floor Rodriguez is a historian of the game he loves.

"He’s the smartest baseball player I’ve ever been around, in every aspect," said Cockrell, who recently replaced Jeff Pentland "He knows his swing mechanically and he knows his approach. Just the way he breaks down pitchers and determines what his approach should be, the smartest guy I’ve ever been around."

This shouldn't be a huge shock for people that payed attention to the baseball rumors this past season. One included Rodriguez as a player coach for the Miami Marlins. A-rod is a Miami native, and could possibly end up there one day.
