Mets WS Tickets Selling at Record Prices

So the Mets just won the National League pennant. You're all pumped up and you're starting to wonder about the possibility of heading to a World Series game at Citi Field.

How will you get off work? How will you handle the kids? Will your boss be okay? And more importantly, how much does it cost?

Well, that last question has a HUGE answer:

The average price of a game at Citi Field is more than $1600? WOW. The highest price EVER? It doesn't surprise me that the '13 Red Sox are second. I guess it shouldn't surprise us at all that Boston and New York have massive ticket prices - as both are highly affluent areas with rich businessmen and wealthy businesses.

It will be interesting to see what the price of tickets will be in the American League City - either Kansas City or Toronto.

The Mets will host games 3 and 4 of the Series - and Game 5 if necessary.
