Penn State players delivered a strong message to the public regarding their commitment to the university in the midst of heavy sanctions.

Penn State senior running back Michael Zordich and senior linebacker Michael Mauti delivered some powerful words on Wednesday.  Both Zordich and Mauti mentioned that the core guys on the Penn State football team where going to stay put and look at the current situation as an opportunity rather than a punishment.

I really like the message that Michael Mauti delivered.  Two quotes really stood out to me.  "This program was not built by one man and this program sure as hell is not going to get torn down by one man," Mauti said.  The senior linebacker also said, "This is what Penn State is about; fighting through adversity.  We're going to show up every Saturday and we're going to raise hell."  Amen.  I love the message.  Penn State is going to have some lean years due to the heavy sanctions that the football program was hit with, but they will survive the punishment because of players like these two guys.
