Phillie Phanatic Injures Woman With Flying Hot Dog [VIDEO]

When it comes to sports mascots or really any mascots the Phillie Phanatic is one of the most known and loved of the group...that is unless you're on receiving end of his Hot Dog Cannon. Kathy McVay found out that even though the hot dog is a baseball tradition they hurt if they're wrapped in duct tape and fired out of a cannon. ABC 6 Action News has the story.

Just think about it, you're enjoying a game when a six foot something green jester fires his wiener at you with such velocity that it breaks your glasses and gives you bruises all over your face. The pain is so severe that you have to get x-rays to make sure there's no real damage. Every time someone is roasting wieners you have a traumatic flashback to that time an ATV with a HOT DOG CANNON mounted to it almost took your eye!!!
