With Terrell Thomas going down with a knee injury for the second season in a row, the spotlight on Giants corner back Prince Amukamara’s development has gotten significantly more intense. Prince was kind enough to speak with myself and Joe Bianchino about the loss of Thomas and how it will affect him.

In addition to the Thomas injury, Prince gave some insight on how his comfort level and understanding of the system has changed from a year ago, when his rookie season was quickly derailed by injury. In the interview below you can check out his thoughts on that, as well as his early impressions of the Giants’ exciting addition at linebacker, Keith Rivers.

Prince Amukamara was drafted 19th overall by the Giants in the 2011 draft out of Nebraska. After missing most of his rookie year with a broken foot, Prince appeared in 7 games, recording 14 tackles and 1 interception.
