The Oakland Raiders are staying put. At least for now.

The team signed a new lease with O.co Coliseum for the 2016 NFL season.

"It gives us an opportunity to work on a permanent facility for the Raiders here in Oakland," Davis told reporters. "It gives us some certainty for this season as well as flexibility for the following two seasons."

The fact that it looks as though the Raiders are staying in Oakland for this season, shifts focus to the San Diego Chargers. Should the Chargers decide to stay put in San Diego instead of opting to move with the Rams to Los Angeles, the Raiders could step in and move to L.A. However, now that the Raiders have locked down a home for 2016, the opportunity for a new stadium in Oakland becomes a greater possibility.

Do you think that the Raiders will stay long-term in Oakland?
