The New York Rangers fell to the Tampa Bay Lightning 6-3. Martin St. Louis was honored before the game for recently reaching 1,000 NHL points. St.Louis was traded to the Rangers in the middle of the 2013-14 season from the Lightning. During his time with the Lightning he had 953 points in 972 games.

St. Louis put the Rangers in front 3-2 in the second period, before allowing four unanswered goals by the Lightning. Kevin Hayes, and Jesper Fast also scored for the Rangers, who had won four of five. Henrik Lundqvist struggled all game, and made only 15 saves.

The Rangers will head off to Detroit Saturday to take on the Red Wings.
