A bad Game 5 for the Rangers could get worse.

Rangers defenseman John Moore hit Canadiens forward Dale Weise up high in the third period. Weise was hit in his blind spot as his helmet flew off and body fell to the ground.

Moore has a hearing with the NHL on Wednesday to find out if he will have further punishment, beyond the match penalty and ejection that he received on Tuesday night.

This series has already had one vicious hit that later brought on a two-day game suspension for Montreal's Brandon Prust when he broke Derek Stepan's jaw:

We'll await the hearing today on Moore and see if he'll sit for any part of the remainder of this series or beyond.
