The New York Rangers could be in the midst of finding their stride.

The Rangers (3-3) have salvaged what could have been an excruciating four game season opening home-stand with a 4-0 win over the San Jose Sharks. The now have won back to back games for the first time this season.

After letting in 17 goals in three games. The Rangers have only allowed one in the past two games. Lundqvist had 33 saves in the Rangers shutout.

The most consistent player for the Rangers and possibly in the whole NHL right now, is none other than winger Rick Nash. Nash made Rangers history twice less than a week apart.  Nash made history last Tuesday when he scored his fourth point in his fourth game for the Rangers. Sunday night Martin St. Louis and Rick Nash scored 4 seconds apart late in the second period, tying a New York Rangers record.

The Rangers  play their next two games on the road, with a Tuesday game down the turnpike in Newark against the New Jersey Devils followed by a Saturday night game in Montreal against the Canadiens.
