Saturday night will be a homecoming with a king's welcome for Touchdown Eddie Brown. The greatest player in Albany Firebirds history and arguably the best ever to play in the Arena Football League will see his number 17 raised to the Times Union Center rafters.

With his son, Steelers wide receiver Antonio, and daughter Jada by his side, Eddie will be honored at halftime along with the 1999 Arena Bowl championship team. All of that will come in front of a sold out crowd of nearly 14,000 people.

Will he dance, cry or do both? Eddie Brown says he's not sure where his emotions Saturday night will take him, but one thing's for sure; there is an overwhelming sense of pride and nostalgia already running through his veins.

Eddie Brown joined Big Board Sports Friday morning to look ahead to what will be a remarkably memorable night.
