Red Sox Keep Rolling

The Red Sox are 14-3 in the month of July.  Boston was able to accomplish something on Friday night for the first time since 1979.

Remember when the Red Sox got off to a horrible start this season?  Boston started off the 2011 season by losing its first six ballgames.  The Sox lost 10 of the first 12 games this year.  That horrid start is a distant memory.

The Red Sox have completely turned their season around.  Following a 7-4 win against the Seattle Mariners on Friday night, the Red Sox improved to 60-37 for the season.  It's the fastest Boston has been able to record 60 wins since 1979.  Going into Saturday, the Red Sox have a two-game lead over the New York Yankees in the AL East.
