One day after going 0-3 in his major league debut, Yankees second base product Rob Refsnyder had a big impact in the Yanks 8-6 win over the Boston Red Sox on Sunday.

Refsynder went 2-4 with his first major league hit -- and home run, which you can see below.

Nathan Eovaldi went five innings for the win. He's now 9-2 with a 4.50 ERA on the year. His record is great, but he continues to struggle to go deep into games.

In addition to Refsnyder, Brett Gardner, Brian McCann and Chase Headley all had multi-hit games. McCann hit his 14th homer in the game.

The Yankees close out the first half of the season at 48-40 and sit 3.5 games ahead of the slumping Rays in the American League East.

It's been a great first half for the Yanks, who weren't really expected to compete this season. The Yanks have been decimated by injuries at various times but have overcome to this point.
