The New York Daily News is reporting that the Yankees have offered Yankee Stadium as a location for Alex Rodriguez to host his initial press conference this year.

On Thursday, Buster Olney joined Armen and Levack in which he suggested that a ‘side field’ in the Yankees Florida complex could be a destination.

Olney also brought the idea up that there’s a good chance the Yankees will not have their emblematic backdrop that includes the team’s logo. Anything the Pinstripes can do to disassociate themselves from an individual on their roster, that’s what they’re trying to do with A-Rod.

Pitchers and catchers report to spring training on Friday the 20th, so all indications are that Rodriguez will have his press conference by the end of this upcoming week.
