We all knew that Derek Jeter would have no problem in his life after baseball. He's smart, good looking, and has enough money to make most things happen financially.

His new Players Tribune has been wildly successful, but he apparently had other plans in mind for his post-playing career.

Apparently, Jeter had interest in buying the Buffalo Bills when they were for sale in 2014.

This comes from a CBS Sports article on the story:

"Multiple sources confirmed to Tim Graham of the Buffalo News that Jeter had the Yankees forward an inquiry to the team while the team was up for sale in late 2014. He didn't receive a response.

The Pegulas, who eventually purchased the Bills, told Graham that they hadn't heard from Jeter about purchasing a minority share."
