Love will also sign a long-term contract extension with the Cavs after his contract is up at the conclusion of this season.

Cleveland will reportedly send No. 1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins and former No. 1 Anthony Bennett to Minnesota along with a protected first-round selection in 2015.

The deal cannot be officially completed until Aug. 23, as Wiggins cannot be traded until one month after signing his rookie deal.

Love averaged 26 points and 12.5 rebounds a game this past season and instantly helps make the Cavs a threat to win the title.
