Man, this is awkward.  A reporter loses all credibility the instant she calls New York Jets' quarterback Mark Sanchez "Tim."  Luckily, Tim (I mean Mark) rolls with the punches.

This would actually be a funny joke to play on Mark Sanchez.  You know, call Mark Sanchez "Tim" on purpose.  Maybe it would get a couple of chuckles from the Jets' starting quarterback.  Maybe a few media members would laugh.  The only problem is that this reporter wasn't joking at all.  She was dead serious when she accidentally called Mark Sanchez the wrong name.  Whoops.  That big boom sound you hear is her credibility going up in smoke.

There will be moments this season that won't be as easy to laugh off for Mark Sanchez.  The most popular player in the NFL, Tim Tebow, just happens to be the Jets' backup quarterback.  When a starting quarterback begins to struggle and the team is losing games, the most popular player on the team is the backup quarterback.

When Mark Sanchez struggles this season (and he will at times) guess who will be doubly popular.  You guessed it!  Mr. Tim Tebow.  It's going to be a really interesting season.  It will be filled with soap-opera moments.  You can hear all of the drama unfold on 104.5 The Team, ESPN Radio, you home for Jets' football.
