The Buffalo Bills have announced that Dennis Thurmond has been hired as the defensive coordinator. Thurmond held the same position with the Jets under Rex ryan

In addition, the Bills announced that they have added seven coaches to its staff today.  All seven of the coaches Rex Ryan brought with him from his previous job with the New York Jets. The seven include Tim McDonald (Defensive Backs), Jeff Weeks (Assistant Defensive Line), Karl Dunbar (Defensive Line), Tony Sparano Jr. (Tight Ends), Eric Smith (Special Teams Assistant), Jason Oszvart (Strength and Conditioning Assistant), Bobby April III (Linebackers Coach).
