This weekend the Jets will face the Giants, who are technically the road team.  Both are coming off crushing defeats, but Jets coach Rex Ryan says that the Jets are in fact better than the Giants.

Rex Ryan has always had a bit of arrogance about him, but when it comes to facing a rival is when we really see it come out.  Saturday afternoon, Christmas eve, his Jets will face the Giants.  Now technically the Jets are the home team despite the two teams sharing MetLife stadium.  Rex even believes that the Jets are better than the Giants.

There's no way I'm going to be second fiddle. If we were playing the New York Yankees, I don't want to be second fiddle to them. This is the same type of deal. I want to be the best team in football, not just the best team in this city. But we'll start by being the best team in this city... I recognize they're an excellent football team, but I think we're better.

Right now the Jets are at 8-6 and if the season ended today they would be in the playoffs as the six seed.  If the season ended today for the Giants they would once again miss out on the playoffs with a 7-7 record.  So maybe Rex has a point.  So are the Jets better than the Giants?  Let us know what you think by voting below.
