All New York area teams had representatives at the 2016 NFL Pro Bowl. Team Irvin defeated Team Rice 49-27 in the meaningless exhibition game.

The New York Giants had four players at the game including QB Eli Manning, WR Odell Beckham Jr., CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, and K Josh Brown. The New York Jets were represented by RB Chris Ivory and C Nick Mangold, while the Bills had QB Tyrod Taylor, C Eric Wood, and G Richie Incognito in the game.

Out of all of those players, Team Irvin's Rodgers-Cromartie had the best game by far. He picked off two passes. The first of which he intercepted Raiders QB Derek Carr, and fumbled it back to the offense on his return. The second, an easy pick of Taylor that was returned for 32 yards.

Both Manning and Taylor, who were on Team Rice, threw a touchdown pass. However, Taylor had three costly interceptions that put his team in an insurmountable hole. Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson took home MVP honors with his three TD passes.

The Pro Bowl still is what it is. A meaningless football game.
