Some of the biggest names in the Arena Football League are involved in bringing the sport back to the Capital Region and they were all in Albany on Tuesday to make the announcement official.

Ron Jaworski, Dick Vermeil and Marques Colston, all part of the Philadelphia Soul ownership group, are also part owners of the Albany franchise, yet to be named. The Soul have won back to back Arena Bowls and with George Hearst III and Dan Nolan, there is a local and larger effort to make round two of the AFL in Albany as successful as the first time around with greater longevity.

Rodger Wyland and Chris Onorato were live from Tuesday's press conference and Jaworski joined Big Board Sports to share his involvement and excitement.
