A unique fan rushed onto the field to do an extremely odd dance during the Notre Dame-Navy game in Dublin, Ireland on Saturday.

During Notre Dame's 50-10 drubbing of Navy on Saturday, a fan ran onto the field to do some type of drunken jig.  He was wearing funny headgear and a sweatshirt tied around his waist in questionable fashion.  You always should look out for guys who tie their sweatshirt around their waist.  Anyway, the guy delayed the game for a few seconds early in the 3rd quarter just after halftime.

How about the photographer that gives jig-guy a stiff-arm after he walks off the field?  Very nice.  Sign that photographer up for special teams at least.

The distracting jig didn't exactly distract Notre Dame as the Irish had their way with Navy 50-10.  Everett Golson completed 12-of-18 passes for 144 yards with one touchdown and one interception in his starting debut as Notre Dame's quarterback.  Running backs Theo Riddick and George Atkinson III both rushed for two touchdowns apiece.

One final thing; I have to call out our own Brian Cady for talking trash about Notre Dame.  I tuned in to "Cady's Corner" at 10am on 104.5 The Team, only to hear Brian Cady making fun of the Irish for missing their first extra point of the season.  Notre Dame was leading Navy 20-0 at the time Cady decided to pick on the Irish.

Seriously, Mr. ND Hater (Brian Cady) needs to settle down on his hatred for the Irish.  He's getting unreasonable.  How about making fun of the team that hadn't attempted an extra point because they were being shut out?  How about that?  Remind me to put Cady in the Steiner Recliner after we get back from Labor Day weekend.  Enjoy your day.
