RPI standout Andrew Franks held his NFL Pro Day yesterday in Troy in front of NFL scouts from the Bills, Chargers, and Raiders,

Franks was named an American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) All-American after a stellar season at RPI. He connected on 16 of 25 field goals, including three of more than 50 yards.

As you see from the tweet above from Josh Sims of News 10 Sports, Franks was able to hit from 50 and 55 with ease on Monday.

Franks led the Engineers in scoring this season with 78 points. He had 30 extra points to his credit.

He kicked the longest field goal in Division III this season (54 yards) and was named the Liberty League Special Teams Player of the Year for the second consecutive season.

This is great exposure for the Capital Region and great news for Division III. Hopefully Franks can hook on somewhere, late in the draft, or as a free agent signing afterwords.
