Rugby Player’s Horrific Broken Ankle [VIDEO]

You know you want to watch.  You know you have to watch.  Sure, it’s a gruesome injury and the easy thing would be to turn away, but both you and I know that is simply not going to happen.

Whenever an opponent stops playing a sport to signal the training staff to attend to a player, it’s a really bad sign.  That’s exactly what happens in this video.  During a National Rugby League game, Jharal Yow Yeh of the Brisbane Broncos suffers a severe ankle injury.  It was such a bad injury that members of the South Sydney Rabbitohs signal on the training staff immediately.

To me, the injury doesn’t really look THAT bad.  I’ve seen injuries that look absolutely hideous.  Jharal Yow Yeh gets his ankle caught underneath himself.  That has happened plenty of times.  However, (and this is the part you might want to look for a garbage can if you just ate), you normally don’t see the bone sticking out after such an injury occurs.  Yuck!!
