Oklahoma City point guard Russell Westbrook had a fantastic performance against the Miami Heat on Tuesday night.  However, his boneheaded foul in the final seconds was a killer.

Russell Westbrook committed an absolutely terrible foul in the final seconds on Tuesday night.  With just 13.8 seconds remaining, Russell Westbrook fouled Mario Chalmers.  Just before the foul, James Harden and Udonis Haslem grabbed a rebound at the same time with 0.8 seconds left on the shot clock.

By rule, the shot clock was reset to 5 seconds.  Once Mario Chalmers gained possession following the jump ball, Russell Westbrook should not have fouled him.  Putting Chalmers on the free throw line with only 13.8 seconds to go while Oklahoma City trailed by three points was an absolute killer.  The error by Russell Westbrook was also a shame because he had a tremendous game.  Westbrook poured in 43 huge points.

The Miami Heat were able to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 104-98 in Game 4.  Miami now enjoys a 3-1 series lead.  It was an enormous victory for Miami.  The Heat will look to close out the Thunder in Game 5 on Thursday at 9:00pm.  Pregame coverage begins at 8:00pm on 104.5 The Team, ESPN Radio.
