After faultering in the 9th inning on Wednesday, the Yankees came back to take the series with the Tampa Bay Rays on Thursday night with a 5-3 win.

The game saw a great potential pitching matchup with CC Sabathia taking on David Price. The Rays would get to CC early with a run in the first two innings, although both runs were unearned. The Yankees would tie things up in the bottom of the 2nd thanks to a Curtis Granderson solo Home Run and an RBI single by Chris Stewart.

Both pitchers would settle down for the next few innings until the Yankees started to get to Price in the 5th. Robinson Cano would blast a 2-run Home Run and Andruw Jones would score A-Rod with an RBI double.
