While the snow kept most of the crowd away, it didn't stop Siena from recording a signature 79-72 win against Rider on Monday at the Times Union Center.

The Saints moved to 6-6 in MAAC play with the win over the previously 8-3 Broncs.

Rob Poole poured in 27 points on 8-13 shooting as the Saints overcame an early 20-4 deficit. They shot 70 percent in the second half to help propel the win.

“It was a complete team effort,” Siena coach Jimmy Patsos said. “Rob Poole continues to not let us lose games - 27 is an unbelievable number.  Jimmy Paige and Ryan Oliver really gave us some great minutes.”

Siena also got 17 from Marquis Wright and only committed five turnovers.

Siena will play Iona on Friday in a game televised on ESPN U.
