New York Mets 67-year old general manager Sandy Alderson collapsed following the formal announcement of a contract extension for manager Terry Collins at Citi Field Wednesday morning.

"All right, sorry about that, guys," Alderson said. " ... OK, where were we?" those were the words after Alderson's scary faint. He would go on to answer the question about center fielder Juan Lagares needing elbow surgery.

The reporters respected Alderson after the scare, and did not continue to ask questions. Alderson was immediately examined by a team trainer and was deemed to be fine. He blamed it on not eating breakfast, and dehydration.
