With Saratoga Racing season officially behind us now, it's time to dissect and break down what a success 2015 really was.

Sure, American Pharoah and the Travers' Stakes brought a ton of attention to 'Toga, but the numbers were huge regardless.

The overall attendance for the season? 1,065,625. That's the most people to ever walk through the gates at the Spa.

How much money was bet? More than $648 million, at the track or through other means. That's also a record, eclipsing the past high of $590 million.

The track also took in more than $16 million a day in bets. The Spa hasn't hit that average number since 2007.

How much of the attention on the track was because of American Pharoah? Probably some of it, but the bottom line is that the Saratoga Race Course is a fixture in the community as is a tradition that this area values.
