Saratoga meet To Be Featured On NBC TV

1 of the most historic places, and race meets will be featured for the next 5 weeks on NBC and the NBC Sports network.

Saratoga Raceway. once called 1 of the top 10 venues of the 20th century will have much of it's Saturday racing cards featured on the network until the Summer meet ends on September 1st.

The peacock network signed the 2 year deal with Saratoga after the sports network broadcast some of the races last season.

The broadcast schedule will be every Saturday starting with this upcoming Saturday. NBCSN will pick up the broadcast at 6pm est. Every Saturday until the meet is over will also be on the sports network except for Saturday, August 26th when NBC takes over from 4-6pm and will televise the Travers Stakes.

The Summer meet started at Saratoga way back in 1863. The crowds pack the place. Families came from all over the country for a good time, good racing, and plenty to do for the kids.

NBC is the home for all of horse racings big events including the Breeders Cup, The Kentucky Derby, and the rest of the triple crown races in addition to the Travers Stakes....
