If you watched the Baltimore Ravens beat the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII, and most Americans did, this spoof will have you cracking up.

Saturday Night Live did a fantastic job of calling out CBS for their brutal blackout coverage during Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans.  The Baltimore Ravens led the San Francisco 49ers 28-6 with 13:22 remaining in the 3rd quarter when half of the lights in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome went out.  CBS’ coverage during the 34-minute blackout wasn’t exactly stellar.

Sideline reporter Steve Tasker barely had any information during the blackout.  After a handful of painful minutes, CBS finally had James Brown, Dan Marino, Bill Cowher, and Shannon Sharpe join the conversation.  They didn’t add much either.  Sure, SNL’s spoof was a big exaggeration, (like the hilarious “2 Broke Girls” promotional announcements), but there were parts of the spoof that were actually completely accurate.  Good stuff.
