Dave Byrd was a star at CBA before he went on to star at Syracuse. He was a two-year starter for the Orange - and after that he went onto a career in the NFL and the CFL. He spent time with the Seattle Seahawks and Buffalo Bills in addition to the British Columbia Lions.

And on Saturday, the Schenectady native will be enshrined into the Capital Region Football Hall of Fame. The ceremony takes place at 6 pm at the Radisson on Wolf Road.

Byrd joined Brady Farkas and Zach Bye today to talk about the honor, his career, his memories, playing with the Seahawks and Bills, and he also sheds light on the induction of Andre Davis, another Capital Region native who went onto the NFL with the Cleveland Browns.
