Casper Wells continued his hot start with his new club on Wednesday afternoon.

The Schenectady had 2 hits to lead the Seattle Mariners to a 7-4 win over the Oakland Athletics.

Wells, who was traded from Detroit to Seattle in a 6-player deal on Saturday, went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI's, a walk and a stolen base.

Wells has started every game in leftfield for the Mariners since the trade.  During that time, he's gone 6 for 15 with a homerun and 5 RBI - that's a .400 average.

The Schenectady High School graduate is now batting .273 with 5 homeruns and 17 RBI's this season.
