Schenectady’s Casper Wells Steals Ball From Fan

Casper Wells is making quite an impression with the Detroit Tigers this season.  The  Tigers rightfielder is batting .260 with 4 homers and 12 RBIs.

But the Schenectady native is also making some great plays in the outfield.  His catch against San Francisco on Friday was good enough to make ESPN's Weekend Web Gems.

Wells takes the ball away from a fan in leftfield at Comerica Park -  the Tigers home stadium.  He then throws home to get the Giants runner out for a double play.
