Oklahoma City head coach Scott Brooks was a complete class act during Game 5 of the NBA Finals.  Just minutes away from elimination, Brooks delivered a very classy speech.

I love this message by Oklahoma City head coach Scott Brooks.  With just a couple of minutes left in Oklahoma City's season, Brooks delivered a simple message; we're going to work hard to get better and we're going to congratulate the true champions this year.  That's a superb message.

Oklahoma City was trailing by close to 20 points with only a few minutes to play in Game 5 of the NBA Finals (a game heard on 104.5 The Team, ESPN Radio).  The Miami Heat were just minutes away from beating the Thunder 4-1 in the NBA Finals to capture the crown.  Oklahoma City had absolutely no chance to win the game.  Miami beat Oak City 121-106 in Game 5.

It shows a lot of class for Scott Brooks to tell his team to give respect to the Miami Heat.  Miami beat Oklahoma City "fair and square."  There is nothing wrong with showing good sportsmanship.  Hats off to Scott Brooks for his approach at the end of Game 5.  Good job, Scotty.
