Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid recently spent some time on Capitol Hill throwing the New York Jets and the Republican party under the bus.

This video is hilarious for one major reason to me; our own Bruce Jacobs (host of “Game On” weekdays 3-7pm on 104.5 The Team) is a diehard Jets’ fan and a hardcore conservative.  The Senate Majority Leader did a fantastic job of throwing two of Bruce’s passions directly under the bus in one fell swoop.  Well done, Harry.

You would know better than me if this is a good comparison or not.  I just learned that the Republican party is represented by a donkey while the Democratic party is represented by an elephant.  (Settle down; the last sentence is incorrect on purpose to illustrate just how much my knowledge of politics sucks).

I do know that New York Jets are currently stinking to the high heavens, but they are still one of the most interesting teams in football.  Listen to the Jets take on the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday at 1:00pm ET.  Pregame coverage begins at Noon on 104.5 The Team, ESPN Radio.

Brian Noe is the Brand Manager at 104.5 The Team, ESPN Radio in Albany, NY.  Brian also hosts “The Noe Show” weekdays from 1-3 pm ET on WTMM.
