Serena Williams Continues Wimbledon Success

Wimbledon continues to be a place where Serena Williams thrives.  She advances onto the third round with her win over Simona Halep.

Serena Williams started off yesterday a little bit shaky, but turned things around to win in 3 sets and move on to the third round at Wimbledon.  She beats Romania's Simona Halep 3-6, 6-2, 6-1.

Williams won eight of the last nine games played in the match.  She used that dominating serve to control things.  She had 7 aces and really drilled it home at the end with a 114mph serve to win it.

In third round action today at Wimdledon, Andy Roddick, Rafael Nadal and Venus Williams.  Coverage on ESPN 2 beginning at 7am.
