After winning the ACC tournament, the Syracuse Orange men's lacrosse team earned the No. 2 seed in the NCAA tournament. They'll play this Sunday at 7:30 p.m. against the winner of Bryant and Marist, who play this afternoon.

Anchoring the back end of the Orange defense is Shenendehowa graduate Bobby Wardwell. The senior has started all 14 games in the cage for the Orange this season.

He has posted a 52.6 percent save percentage while making 123 saves.

Wardwell is one of three Section II products in the ACC alone, along with Niskayuna's Luke Goldstock (North Carolina) and Mike D'Amario (Virginia).

Wardwell joined us today to talk about what the Orange need to do to win their first round game, NCAA tournament seeding, being part of the Capital Region lacrosse fraternity, and he also answered the question: "Is Lyle Thompson the best player in the country?"

"Without a doubt, he's one of the best players in the country. Everything he does is so smooth. He's such a great player," he said.
