The Washington Redskins have officially released Robert Griffin III, making him a free agent. The team informed Griffin of his release Monday morning, the 2012 2nd overall draft pick didn't play in a single game this season.

RG3 should have no problem finding a job even with his stint in Washington ending badly. Suitors include the New York Jets, Houston Texans, Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Rams, and San Francisco 49ers.

The Jets are in a tough spot right now with Ryan Fitzpatrick set to hit free agency after the teams failed to meet terms. With Geno Smith next in line, the Jets will look to bring a quarterback in that has had glimpses of success in the league, before Bryce Petty steps up into the backup role.
