Gary Sanchez is one of the worst defensive catchers in baseball, and Yankee manager Aaron Boone should think  twice about putting him behind the plate for the AL Wild Card game on October 3rd.  Sanchez leads the league in passed balls, and he’s not hitting. Sanchez has not hit all season long, and you can’t lose to the Oakland A’s or you’re season is over. The Yankees have him in the lineup for one reason, his ability to pop the home run. Backup catcher Austin Romine is the better choice for next Wednesday.
