The New York Knicks have been rumored in multiple trades leading up to Thursday's deadline and almost every single one of them has been linked back to Iman Shumpert.

Well, that is, until Wednesday night.

The Knicks beat the Pelicans on the road, 98-91, but still couldn't catch a break as Shumpert fell to the court in the third quarter and needed assistance getting to the locker room.

Shumpert is on his way back to New York to get his injury further evaluated. Meanwhile, if the third year guard is seriously hurt, then so are the chances of the Knicks dealing him.

There's a history with Shumpert's injured left knee as he tore an ACL in the same place three years ago and missed out on the majority of the post-season in 2012 with a related knee injury.
