Described as an explosively offensive player, the Siena Saints added their 3 players to their roster going forward in this recruiting season.

Head coach Mitch Buonaguro announced the addition of 6 foot 5 shooting guard Ryan Oliver from Inglewood, California. Oliver joins 2 others in signing their letter of intent to play ball at Siena, joining Richard Audu and Brett Bisping.

Oliver was described by ESPN's recruiting service as being an explosive offensive player, has an ideal frame and good athleticism for the scoring guard position. He has that scorers mentality and is an outstanding shooter. he can be deadly hitting pull-ups or slashing his way to the basket in transition. He has 3 point range in his shot".

The signing is good for Siena, who struggled to score points at times this year. Siena beat out a handful of schools for Oliver, including MAAC rival Fairfield. Also in the chase was Bradley, Hofstra, Delaware, UC Irvine, UN Riverside and Hartford.

The signing of Oliver leaves Siena with one more scholorship to offer for the 2012-13 season.
