Lucious Jordan. That's a name that should be very recognizable to Capital Region basketball fans.

The same Lucious Jordan that came out of Colonie High School. The same Lucious Jordan that helped lead UAlbany to its first NCAA tournament appearance in 2006.

And now the same Lucious Jordan who is an assistant on the Siena team that just beat his alma mater in the Albany Cup.

Jordan joined us today to talk about his emotions during the game and what it's like to coach at Siena while being an Albany graduate.

He spoke with us about the environment at the Times Union Center that night. Furthermore, he told us which is more difficult, getting the program up and running like he did as a player at UAlbany, or restoring a proud program, as he is at Siena now.

He also talked with us about being picked No. 5 in the MAAC preseason poll and if it motivated players, and I got to ask if UAlbany guard Evan Singletary reminds him of Jamar Wilson, arguably the best player in UAlbany history.
