Siena Has Not Released Prince Aduro…Yet

The Siena Saints have had a crazy few months. The Jimmy Patsos saga, hiring his replacement and some players asking to be released. All Freshman Forward Prince Aduro is one of those student athletes who requested a release transfer. As of right now he has not been granted that release.

According to the Times Union Aduro is still waiting for his release:

“Siena is holding Prince’s release he just wants a fresh start,” First Love Christian Academy’s Khayree Wilson said in a Twitter message. “This process has taken a toll on him and his family and we all just want him to move on. But Siena is not doing right by a kid who has done right by them.”

 

Now that Siena has hired former Mount Saint Mary head Coach Jamion Christian, I think they're hoping he can convince some of these guys to stay. Siena has stated they don't grant blanket releases but didn't say they were talking about Aduro specifically. Only time will tell.
